Today Spain is having another party, this time it is for the day that Christopher Columbus set sail on his way to discovering the Americas. Spain has the most random festivals and they have a lot of them which call for no work or school. Spain is on big party. Also, our French roommates were only here for a few days for a cultural visit and now they have left. They were never around so unfortunately I did not learn anything about them or their culture. After studying and doing homework for most of the day, I went to the festival with Adam and Parker. The festival was a medieval one we saw glass blowing, belly dancing, blacksmithing, and a guy who made really good painting on small tiles using only his hands and he did they in about a minute; they were very good, pretty and made fast.
