Wednesday August 30 – Granada Tour

Kevin and I got help from our sister to the Center of Modern Languages (CLM), where her mom told her to bring us but we were supposed to meet at El Correos. We told her that but I think she wanted to do what her mom said so she brought us to the CLM and we had to find our way to El Correos alone but we kind of knew where it was. By the time we got there the group had left so Lydia had to come get us and we eventually met up with the group. The tour was of the two CLM areas, the API building and another meeting place. For lunch our mom made meat pie (layer of hamburger, layer of vegetables, HUGE layer of mashed potatoes, and cheese on top).
After a few of us met up and went to a bar to sit outside and we drank tinto de verano (red wine and lemonade). There was a place with a LOT of spices and it smelled good. We went to El Corte Ingles, which is an American market, to get some things then we walked to the river and we sat on the bridge and talked. We all walked home but on my way home I ran into Kevin who was going to get another phone because he did not like the Piccell phone. He went to the store and got one for 19 Euros but it had the EXACT same software and the plan was identical. We walked home together and waited for dinner, which was hamburgers and fries. At 11:00 we went to the same bar we went to in the afternoon to have a beer and talk outside it was very relaxing.
